I am an artist living in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
I make copper fountains and copper animals, and I am a sculptor. I also do pastel drawings and have made some Celtic Illuminated Manuscript art pieces.
My work is for sale and can be seen on my web site: www.copperwaterfall.com.
I made it through the death of my husband and the loss of many things very dear to me, but I am content with the life I have now. I have a sweetie now, and we are happy about that. I love animals and gardens. I have traveled to Europe, South Africa, Namibia, Mexico and Guatemala, Trinidad and Canada, and in every direction within the lower 48 states. I've been a lot of things, including a Christian, but now I am, simply, a skeptic.
Going back to what I know means leaving the invisible world of the soul and spirit to its own devices, whatever they may be, and going back to things that are here, things that I know, good things that are on and of this earth. Copper is clean, straight out of the earth, malleable and easy. Water needs no additives. Animals have nothing to hide. I make art you can hear, touch, taste, feel, enjoy. I make animals and leaves, and rearrange waterfalls on a tiny scale.
I am glad you are reading this little bio because it means you are visiting my blog, and I like visitors, and visiting! At my studio, where I work on my artwork, people stop by all day long. I work on a busy street in Minneapolis and when the weather permits, the big garage door is always open wide when I'm there working. If you are ever in Minneapolis, please stop by!
