Street Frog! Newly patinaed frog I've been working on. I love the way the patina is taking. First I put on ferric nitrate (nitric acid plus iron), with heat, which turns the surface brown. Then I've been splattering on cupric nitrate, and vinegar and salt. These combinations are turning it green. For photos of the frog in the process of being made, This guy is about four feet long!

I was in the studio most of the day today, and people kept walking by and talking and taking business cards off of his nose, because he was right in front of the door. Here's a photo of him on the sidewalk with a view of Nicollet Ave bus and cars.
